Biography

Meet Rebekah Carson. Rebekah joined the The Law Firm of Poppe & Associates, PLLC in 2022 and was promoted to Law Clerk in 2023. A passionate advocate for her clients, she assists the firm with family and matrimonial documents like drafting motions, briefs, and memoranda of law. She screens documents for privilege and reviews the work of the supporting team.

Rebekah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude from the University of Albany in December 2021, with a major in philosophy and a minor in psychology. She attends Albany Law School of Union University and will graduate in December of 2023. With an avid interest in law, Rebekah also belongs to several bar associations including Capital Women’s Bar Association (CDWBA), New York Bar Association (NYSBA), Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY), Adirondack Women’s Bar Association and Saratoga County Bar Association.

In addition to her academic and business acumen in law, Rebekah’s personal experience as a child of an abusive household, family bankruptcy, and early divorce, has enabled her to connect with clients on a deeply empathetic level. Emancipated at the age of seventeen, she drove across the country to pursue her career in law. She understands the pain of unexpected life events but also knows one can create a new path, pursue a dream(s) and live with joy.

Rebekah wants to help people feel empowered when it feels like everything is against them. With every touch of the client’s matter, her goal is to support them through their journey and encourage them as they seek their own happily ever after.

And that she is – happy. Now living in Albany, New York with her husband and young daughter Elizabeth, Rebekah and her family spend their free time attending live events and going on cruises. An avid Bills fan, she is committed to football season and cheering her team to win.
