Biography

Anjali Sharma is a Paralegal at the Poppe & Associates, PLLC, where Anjali provides vital support in handling complex family law matters. Anjali first joined the Firm in 2023 before graduating from the University at Albany, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science with a focus in areas of Law & Philosophy and Psychology. As a Paralegal, Anjali manages client matters by drafting pleadings and discovery, preparing cases for court, and assisting clients throughout every stage of their matter.

Anjali is known for her thorough knowledge of each case, strong organizational skills, and tireless work on behalf of the Firm’s clients. Anjali works closely alongside Mia, the Firm’s Head Attorney, attending court appearances and participating in client meetings to stay closely involved in the facts and developments of each matter. Through this direct involvement, Anjali plays an important role in preparing matters for court by drafting filings, organizing evidence, and contributing to the development of case strategy. Anjali’s ability to anticipate needs and maintain meticulous case preparation provides the Firm with significant value in litigation efforts.

Beyond her legal work, Anjali is deeply committed to supporting clients during what are often emotionally complex and uncertain periods in their lives. She strives to ensure that clients feel informed, prepared, and supported throughout the legal process, approaching each matter with professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness. Anjali’s dedication, diligence, and reliability make her a valued asset to both the Firm and the clients it represents.

Outside of the office, Anjali enjoys drawing and knitting, hiking, and spending weekends out dancing with friends. She also enjoys exploring the Hudson Valley’s local farmers’ markets and flea markets, where she appreciates the culture and community the region has to offer.
